Very Relaxing

It reminds me of playing one of my favorite video games "the sims" as you were building the homes you had this wonderful piano background music, that they did rid of in the later versions...

The composition is great, recording quality is great to. My only wish is that it be longer, but yet ive said that about my own so, keep up the good work.

Not sure if this was a rhetorical question but ill answer it.
To answer your question the scene that comes to mind is this. your walking back home from a bad day at work or (submit situation),slowing you make your way back but you keep walking but thinking back on what happened.

BlazingDragon responds:

I've never played the Sims, but I certainly hear a lot about it. I've just never been much into that sort of game.

Your right about this one being pretty short. I mainly wanted to finish a project just to get back into the act of composing, so I spent relatively little time on it.

And yes, I did mean my question literally. :) Thanks for the thoughtful review, and I'll try to put a longer one up soon!

Why Does It End!!!

To an old Newground friend.... I was like ,ok this will be interesting and then the 2 minute maker came and im like wow. i stop my page multi tasking and listen ever so intently as like breezes on a summer day, pass by. so soothing, calmning (if thats even a word.) This is such a wonderful work of art. Its been a long time since ive been on Newgrounds, so i thought i review one of your genuine songs and it looks likes its been a while since you entered one of your genuine creations of music. Whenever you do submit a new genuine creation i cant wait to hear it.

Oh this sounds alot like Fire and Rengeneration (theme song to heroes tv show), funny thing is i was just listening to it.

Stalagmite responds:

Holy flabby cankles! old friend indeed XD it is inspired by bobby mcferrin who i reccomend you check out! and yes also heroes Fire and Regeneration funnily enough! so im glad you could find one of my influences! :) *hugs you tight* its nice to hear from you again! i think your the gentleman who has a grandson called aron who is a pianist aswell XD i may have a rubbish memory :P hehe, you take care of yourself man! its a pleasure to see you here again xxx

Where did this come from!

This piece if you look at it objectively is completely calming, and relaxing, other wise simply brilliantly put together and nice to listen to. I see your decision this music sounds like too much fun to create, and write.

TheBenjerman responds:

Thanks a bunch! Always nice to hear from fellow artists. ;)

Inspiring

This piece is very unique and very well put together. A little repetitive but then again if this is truly a experiment i would say your experiment worked quite well. Keep it up. It sounds like many early composers such as Mozart, Beethoven and Franz however it is composed from a contemporary view very interesting. Good job as well.

BlazingDragon responds:

I tried to stay within that early structure with the form, but I couldn't resist throwing in a few of my own stylistic tastes in the harmony and rhythm. Thanks for the observant review!

Wonderful

Lovely out of sync just a bit, but the song is beautiful. IN the begging it sounds like band of brothers then, turns into a whole diffrent creation all to you. Keep up the great work, i really enjoyed this piece.

Stalagmite responds:

thanks man, i have never heard of band of brothers, but my music is similar to alot of other comps, so it propably sounds like something else to anyone ^ ^ i super appreciate your wonderful kindness :D thanks AJ dude :D

very relaxed

you have a on edge feeling with the base beats but then you add the piano and the trumpet each with solos and diffrent feelings but when you add them together you get a whole new feeling. very cool, nice job.

ID-N responds:

wooooooooooooowww!! GREAT
thank u

inspiring

Different songs, I don't see it at all. This kind of piece is one of my favorite's. piano solos. very well done.

Stalagmite responds:

Hey Aj! Aaron???? lol... well thanks for popping by man! i appreciate that coming from someone so gifted. :D thank you ! a wondereful start to my day =D

cool

I normally don't listen to this type of music. I noticed your base crackled some what in the begging of the song other wize it was fine. I cant wait to hear more.

MiniBoy responds:

The crackling is because of your poor speakers.
Turn down the volume, and you won't hear it ;)

Wonderful

This is such great piece so relaxing, but however it would be nice if it was longer. Asome, i love the part in the beginning with the whistle.

Stalagmite responds:

haha... it is a piccolo with a light tint of sparkly bells lol. i love that sound too! it was only a demo piece. i will cetainly be working on more stuff. but this piece is unfortunately not even myne. the main credits go to Cailloup. but thanks for your support and multiple reviews! really enjoy reading them! and worthy of a ten! wow! thanks man!

Nice

Very well done, solid piano. I wanted to ask what computer program you used?

Stalagmite responds:

haha.. for this one it was... um... reason i think. i am quite sure it was reason. and i am sure i tweaked that rubbish preset piano to get this sound. and added LOADS of reverb. haha.. yeah, no mistakes in this piece, coz its not live. :D:D:D
thanks for the review buddy :D:D:D

I love playing piano plain and simple.
